BREAD

Today was bread day. Actually, yesterday and today were bread days. My friend gave me her artisan bread recipe. The dough is mixed and left to raise for 18 hours. There is no kneading. After 18 hours, the dough is plopped onto a floured board. Next the dough is turned over on itself and placed on a floured cotton towel in a bowl and left to raise for 2 more hours. In the meantime, the oven and oven proof pan and lid are heated to 450 degrees for 15 minutes. You carefully remove the pan from the oven and plop the dough into the pan. Put the cover on and bake for 20 minutes. At that time you remove the cover and bake for 10 more minutes. Ta Daa. This is what you get!!! I just had some with tuna and it was delicious!!!!
